Reminder: There is practice on Tuesday and Thursday open to all wrestlers this week from 6:30 - 8:00pm.

Any wrestlers that will be wrestling in our tournament this Saturday need to fill out the entry form and return it to Coach Peters or Coach Derr. Any wrestlers that do not turn in the form will not be registered in the tournament and cannot wrestle on Saturday. Weighins will be this Friday as posted on the application. Singlets will be handed out Saturday morning and need to be returned at the end of the day.

Congratulations to all wrestlers that competed in the league end of the year tournaments. We had several placewinners in the exhibition, junior varsity, and varsity squads. A list of placewinners is being compiled and will be posted on the site as soon as it is completed.

Congratulations to everyone for an outstanding dual meet season, the Gold team wrestled hard and managed to win a few matches thus gaining valuable mat time. The Black team finished with a 9 - 1 record and won their third consecutive division title. Great job guys, we are proud of every one of you whether you are Black or Gold, you all represent Northwestern as a team.

2007 - 2008 Wrestling Season Recap

Great Job Everyone on an outstanding wrestling season, we will miss you sixth graders that are moving on to Junior High. Everyone else, have a great offseason and see you next wrestling season.

Special Thank Yous go out to our Booster Club President Bern Leibensperger and our Treasurer Raquel Lutton for all the time and devotion you have given to this organization, your support and commitment will be missed but not forgotten. Thank you both for helping build this program!!!

Thank you to Coach Glen and Coach Fixl for your time in this program. Your coaching efforts and time have helped many young wrestlers become accomplished young men. Thank you for all the years of service!!!

Great Job to the Varsity Squad for finishing 4th as a team at the Varsity Tournament. We crowned 2 Varsity Champions

Matthew Peters 48lbs and Cole Miller 68lbs. Several others placed respectively in their weight class.

Congratulations to the JV squad for finishing 2nd as a team. We crowned 4 JV Champions

Colin Rex 51lbs, Bailey Wehr 54lbs, Travis Miller 60lbs, and Zach Goddard 64lbs.
